The Brokenness Project, 2024, was a socially engaged exchange project undertaken at the University of Suffolk. Participants in the project were asked to bring something broken to the drop-in workshop where conversations were held around brokenness whilst making in response to, or using, their broken object. The creative responses were then passed on to future participants in a circular exchange which acknowledged the inherent breaks that shape us individually and collectively.

Images show the project and creative responses made during the workshop.
